AssistantBeta

Tell it what is on your plate. It makes the plan.

You already speak to the app to type. The Assistant uses the same voice to organise your day: it reads what you say, proposes the tasks and reminders, and changes nothing until you press the button. It runs on your computer.

A day with Elon

One assistant. One day.

Elon is the name this person chose. Yours can be anything. Scroll through the day.

8:40AM

What is on today?

Ask the way you would ask a person. Elon looks at your real tasks and answers in plain words. Say a task is done, or ask for a reminder, and each change arrives as a card that waits for you.

Three conversations: the day, a task done, a reminder.

1:30PM

Today is too much.

Tell it so. It offers to keep one thing for today and move the rest to tomorrow. You press the button, or you leave it.

One sentence, one card, six tasks moved.

6:40PM

Say it, then write it up.

Dictate a few facts and ask for an email. You get a draft with your own sign-off and a line to check names, dates and amounts. Make it shorter or warmer with one click. You send it.

A draft from what you said, in your words.

8:00PM

Plan the week.

Say everything on your plate, in any order. It splits it into tasks, asks which three matter most, and shows the whole plan before anything is added.

Seven tasks, three that matter, one button.

9:10PM

Give a goal its month.

Name the goal and what has to happen. It builds the goal with its tasks and a finish date, so the month has a shape you can check against.

A goal with five tasks, created from one sentence.

Why it lives in a dictation tool

Your voice is already on.

The floating icon is where you start dictating. It has an Ask button too: a small card above whatever you are doing, the same chat, no new window. What you dictate into it is kept in History with a mark, so you can find it later.

The Ask card on the floating icon.
Files and engine

It reads what you give it. Nothing else.

Files, on this computer

Attach a PDF, Word or Excel file that has text in it. Nothing is read until you send, and it says what it read.

Your choice of engine

On this computer is the default and needs no key. A cloud engine is there only if you add your own key, and then your message goes straight to that provider, never through us. Offline Lock always wins.

What it does

Everything it can do.

  • Tasks and reminders by conversation. Every change is a card you approve.
  • Planning your day and week. Write it all down, then pick your three.
  • Drafts and rewrites. Emails, replies and posts, in a tone you pick.
  • Your files. Text PDF, Word and Excel, read on your computer.
  • The Ask card on the floating icon: the same chat, no new window.
  • Your engine. On this computer, or your own cloud key.
Straight talk

What it will not do.

English only. Other languages need a cloud engine of your own.

It drafts, you send. It never sends anything for you.

It can be wrong. Check names, numbers and dates.

It cannot read scanned documents, only files that contain text.

It needs 16 GB of memory. Long files take minutes on older computers.

It is a Beta. Switch it on in Settings when you want to try it.

Try the part that matters first.

Twenty five dictations, no card and no account. It is the same app you would buy, running the same way it will on day thirty.
