Which punctuation can I say out loud?
Say comma, full stop, question mark, exclamation mark, new line or new paragraph for the mark or the break; fillers like um and uh are removed on their own.
Say the name of the mark where you want it, and Dictate Safe types the mark instead of the word. This works in every dictation, with no setting to turn on and no AI involved.

#What is removed for you
- Filler sounds: um, uh, er, ah, erm, umm and uhh.
- Stutters: a word said twice by accident, as in “the the”, is typed once.
Both happen instantly, in plain code, whether or not AI cleanup is on.
Brackets, quotes, operators and the rest are what Code Mode is for. Turn it on while you write code, and saying “open paren” types (.
“Period” is not a command, so saying it types the word. Say “full stop” for the mark. The word “comma” is always turned into the mark, so to write about commas, type that word yourself.
