How do I put my settings back to the recommended ones?
Restore recommended settings, in Settings, About, shows every change before it happens; your vocabulary, snippets, notes, history and keys are never touched.
Open Settings → About and press Restore recommended settings. You see every setting that would change, from what it is now to what it becomes, and nothing changes until you confirm.
#Restore them
- Open Settings → About.
- Press Restore recommended settings.
- Read the list of what will change.
- Press Confirm.
A confirmation says the recommended settings are restored. If you were already on them, the card says so and changes nothing.
#What it changes, and what it never touches
It puts speech, cleanup and typing settings back to the combination a fresh install gets. Your Vocabulary, snippets, notes, history, prompts and saved API keys are never touched.
It restores settings, not data, so it will not bring back anything you deleted. To start completely fresh, see where your data is stored.
